Best Baby Products

This list is the Dad Version because let’s be real, I picked these bad boys out. This is a no-time-to-waste-just-get-it-wont-regret-it list.

Big stuff worth splurging on

Stroller: Nuna Demi Grow

Its height allows you to see baby more at eye level without straining back. Big storage basket. Easy to fold close. Big wheels and better shocks compared to other strollers. Catches the attention of moms and many Asian grandmas.

Infant Carseat: Nuna Pipa

Best in class, period. Dream drape sunshade built right in with magnetic clasps. Easy to pop in and out of stroller or car seat base. Premium materials, baby loves it and sleeps in it.

Convertible Carseat: Nuna Exec

Best in class, first class, period. Installation, cleaning, everyday interaction, comfort, and safety. Use from day one to big kid. Get it exclusively at Nordstrom, for folks in US.

Jogger: Thule Urban Glide 2

Drives so smoothly, turns on a dime, and big ol tires. Soft suspension for gliding over bumps, curbs, wooden bridges, rocks, and the like. I picked Mars Red so it’s easy to spot and is a head turner.

Crib Mattress: Newton Baby Crib Mattress and Toddler Bed

Get this for the sake of feeling assured at night. Baby will inevitable sleep face down, but this mattress is super breathable. Thoughtfully designed and made.

Infant Lounger: Dockatot or SnuggleMe

We enjoyed having our newborn always within eyesight and within a few steps so we put it on dining table while we cooked, on the floor while we watched tv, in the middle of our bed to co-sleep, and brought it with us when we were out at a friend’s or family’s place.

High Chair: Stokke Tripp Trapp

Baby gets to eat at the dining table, less to clean, color-match your decor, and chair will last from infant to 3+ years old.

Babyroom Camera: Arlo Baby

We originally had the nanit, but the Arlo Baby has more features, same video quality, free video recording and cloud storage, and more. You can’t even record on demand with nanit.

Small stuff worth mentioning

Swaddle: Love to Dream Swaddle Up

At 1-2 mo, Ness did NOT like his arms bound and liked to sleep with arms up and hands by his head. That is when this became necessary.

Sleepsack Transition: Love to Dream Swaddle UP 50/50 Transition Bag

At 3-6 mo, Ness did NOT like his arms bound at all, but liked the snug fit and needed blanket coverage while rolling over at night. Get this.

Infant Support Pillow: Boppy Luxe

The plushy texture is soft and helps especially during colder weather. The Luxe is more full and taught, providing better support when your nursing baby in any position or when baby begins to self-feed.

Bottles: Comotomo Baby Bottle, 8 oz

Easy to wash, easy to hold, don’t care if it drops, primo anti-colic system, avoids bottle-nipple confusion, and lasts from 0 – 12 mo or once you transition to sippy cups. Only gripe is its sometimes hard to get the cap off and takes a little bit longer to warm.
